GENERAL DESCRIPTION Pruett-Schaffer’s #45-13068 Red Touchup Compound is a fast air drying, solvent based, vinyl paint. It is designed as a high gloss, brush applied finish coat for a variety of exterior or interior maintenance applications. It exhibits good abrasion and corrosion resistance, color fastness, vapor, chemical, moisture barrier, and excellent exterior durability. RECOMMENDED USES Use to protect metal conduit and fittings from corrosion in aggressive environments where chemicals, acid, alkali, salt, water, fuels, and oils are present. It may also be used as a vapor, moisture, or chemical barrier for exterior conduit and fitting protection. This coating exhibits excellent flexibility and resistance to impact cracking, and has very good adhesion to difficult metal substrates. It is not recommended for immersion service. SURFACE PREPARATION Remove all oil, grease or foreign substances with chemical, detergent or solvent cleaning.		THINNING Thin if necessary for spraying with methyl isobutyl ketone. Add a little solvent at a time to the mixed system with constant gentle agitation to a maximum of 5% by volume. APPLICATION EQUIPMENT May be applied by brush, or conventional spray. Brushes should be of polyester or nylon construction. . Apply to 3-4 mils dry film thickness (15-20 mils wet). DRYING TIME Dries tack free in 15-30 minutes at 77 ^0F; dry to light handling in 1-2 hours; ultimate cure in 3-5 days.	CLEANUP Clean equipment with any Ketone solvent before the film dries. ENVIRONMENTAL This product contains no lead, chromate, or zinc.
